A little bit about Shannon Ching …

Mr. Ching is the Co-Founder and Co-Developer of RESET, a 65-key hotel situated on 180 acres adjacent to Joshua Tree National Park. RESET opened in July 2025 and is designed around the principles of privacy, comfort, and connection to nature.

Mr. Ching brings over 27 years of real estate experience spanning investment sales, financings, loan sales, and corporate advisory assignments across a wide range of product types, including retail, office, hotel, multifamily, and industrial assets nationwide. He joined HP Investors in 2021 and currently leads the firm’s acquisition and asset management efforts in Los Angeles.

Before HP Investors, Mr. Ching spent more than two decades at Eastdil Secured, a premier real estate investment banking firm, where he served as Managing Director. From 1997 to 2008, he worked in the firm’s Dallas, Texas and Los Angeles, California offices before relocating to New York in 2008 to oversee Eastdil Secured’s retail investment sales and advisory platform.
