A little bit about Javier…
An expert in the intersection of technology, luxury living, and business, Javier Segovia started his career in the design and construction industry in Britain in the late 1990s. Spanish born with residence in Madrid, Javier joined Lutron in 2002 first developing the residential market in Spain and soon taking on more responsibilities across Europe.
Javier served as Director for South of Europe, where he developed new territories and brought Lutron products to market in France, Italy, Morocco and other Mediterranean countries. His experience then took him to India, where he moved with his family to the city of Mumbai. In India, Javier built a local team and established new sales channels, ultimately structuring Lutron’s business expansion in the whole Indian subcontinent including, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Bangladesh.
In 2015, Javier’s sights were set on hotels, as he took on the challenge to expand Lutron’s hospitality business across the whole EMEA region and India, with significant focus on Dubai and the Middle East. With many successes under his belt, 2019 brought the promotion of Javier to head of global hospitality for Lutron, a role that enables him to help deliver innovative solutions and service to major hotel operators and boutiques around the globe.
Javier’s dedication to client success and passion for the fine art of hospitality – combined with his worldly perspective and keen business understanding – make him an extremely valuable asset to his customers and his team.
When he’s not traveling, Javier enjoys home life in Madrid with his wife and three children, and happily serves as local host and tour guide to friends and colleagues who vacation in Spain.
