A little bit about Simon…
Simon Coghlan has more than 25 years experience in hospitality. He studied Bachelor of Business Hotel Management and began his career in the Starwood Hotels and Resorts, working at the Westin Sydney and Sheraton Towers Southgate, Melbourne.
He worked in London for a short time before returning to Australia to set up his own restaurant in Ballarat, Victoria. He has owned and operated six food and beverage venues in Victoria, before he and his wife Gorgi purchased and renovated their current award winning boutique hotel, The Provincial Ballarat and Lola restaurant. The hotel was awarded Best Boutique Hotel in Victoria in 2019 and their restaurant Lola has been listed in the Top 100 Most Delicious in Victoria.
