A little bit about Patti MacJennett…
Patti MacJennett is Chief Industry Relations Officer, for the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board. MacJennett develops and implements the organization’s community engagement strategy with local, state and federal organizations, manages its civic involvement and serves as liaison with key stakeholders and policy makers. During her tenure at Los Angeles Tourism, MacJennett has served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of International, and prior to that MacJennett worked in London on contract with the United States Department of Commerce Travel and Tourism Administration. Her tourism career includes roles as managing partner of an international tour wholesale firm specializing in inbound travel for California and western states, and head of tourism division for the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau, and director roles in hotels sales and association planning. MacJennett is the current Co-Chair of California Travel Association’s Cal Travel Pac and recent past Chair of CalTravel Association and serves on the Boards of the International Citizen Diplomacy of Los Angeles, Central City Association of Los Angeles, the Valley Economic Alliance and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. A native of California, MacJennett is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University.
