A little bit about Esra​​​​ …

Esra is the founder of a boutique tourism consultancy specializing in the intersection of data analytics and strategic insights. An industry expert, she leverages her deep knowledge of the travel sector, human behavior, and data to bridge the gap between business and technology.

Formerly the Chief Data Advisor at Zartico and Head of Research at Virginia’s official tourism and film office, Esra is passionate about guiding hospitality and travel organizations in their transformation from analog to digital business models.

She is an alumna of Harvard University’s Business Analytics Program, where she sharpened her expertise in AI and analytics. Esra also completed her doctoral work in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Virginia Tech.

Esra plays a pivotal role in shaping the industries she serves through her involvement on multiple boards. She is currently an advisory board member of the Travel Industry Executive Women Network, a member of the HBR Advisory Council research community, a Business Fellow at Perplexity, and a former President of the International Board of the Travel & Tourism Research Association.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Esra is an avid traveler who dreams of one day making her own wine. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and their beloved maltipoos, Gigi and Margaux.
