Andrew Archibald brings a distinguished global hospitality background to his role as Managing Director of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at Rosewood Bermuda, where he spearheaded operations and curated destination-specific experiences that celebrated the island's unique character.
His extensive luxury hospitality career includes pivotal leadership roles at some of the world's most prestigious properties: Hotel Manager at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York, Hotel Manager at Meadowood Resort and Spa in Napa Valley, Restaurant Director at Mandarin Oriental New York, and Assistant Manager at The Ritz London. This diverse experience across iconic urban hotels and luxury resorts has shaped his expertise in delivering exceptional guest experiences while honoring each property's distinct heritage.
Originally from Australia's Hunter Valley wine region, Archibald earned his degree in Business, Tourism and Hospitality Management from Southern Cross University in Sydney. His international perspective, combined with deep appreciation for local culture and community, aligns perfectly with The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe's commitment to authentic luxury hospitality.
Now residing in Southern California, Andrew enjoys discovering the charm and natural beauty of Rancho Santa Fe alongside his wife and their dog, Lily, bringing both professional expertise and personal passion to his stewardship of this century-old landmark property.
